| On Thursday 5th February Room 2, along with 3 other classes, ventured to North Beach Lifesaving Club to learn how to be SunSmart and SwimSmart. We now know we all have to SLIP, SLOP, SLAP and WRAP when we are at the beach! SLAP on a long sleeved t-shirt SLOP on lots of 50+ UV sunscreen SLAP on a hat WRAP on sunglasses |

| We had lots of fun races along the beach but couldn't wait to start digging and building sandcastles. |
The day finished off with a lot of laughs as Jaxon was dressed up as a Lifeguard with all the safety gear on and had to 'save' some children. The ride back on the bus was a lot quieter than the one going as we had 17 very happy but tired kids!
